Asiana Airlines Business Class 747-400

Star Alliance business lounge at LAX

Flight OZ 201: Los Angeles to Incheon, Korea

Checking in for the flight at the airport was fast, but finding the business lounge upstairs wasn't. I accidentally walked to another lounge that belonged to some other airline, so they politely redirected me to the correct one. After finally finding the Star Alliance lounge, I was greeted by the front desk and was asked to show my boarding pass. The entrance to the lounge was a long walkway, and on the left were brochures, newspapers, and random (but boring!) magazines.
The lounge looked very modern and felt very cozy. There were only a few people there when I came in at about 9-10 AM, so I loved the peacefulness. Too bad it didn't last long. As the hours went by, more and more people started to walk in, and this cozy private lounge turned into a high school cafeteria.

The buffet was set up at the end of the lounge. It offered fresh fruits, 2 types of soups, hot foods, instant noodles, cheese & crackers, drinks and more.

First look at the business seats.
Honestly, it was a little disappointing when I first saw the chairs. The seats were pretty old looking, and it looked like it could use some updates. Since it was spacious and had a very flexible reclining feature, I shouldn't complain. Love that the seat is able to turn into an angled bed...so much more comfortable than having to sleep up straight for 12 hours.

Food on Asiana Business Class

Meal time is what I looked forward to the most! :P
The setup was like a restaurant!
Here's the first meal during the flight. I had a choice of a western meal and a Korean one. It started off with 3 appetizers before the main dish, and ended with 2 desserts. A lot of food, yes.

 Korean cookies.

After meal time, it was movie O'clock! And sleep afterwards, of course.

After about 8-9 hours, it was meal time again. The attendant walked around to take our orders. This time I chose western food, so I had a more fancy set up. :)
