History of Whoo Make Up Pact & Luxury BB Cream

 The History of Whoo
Make Up Pact & BB Cream
Korean Luxury Cosmetic Brand
Makeup Pact - $75USD
BB Cream- $55USD
(Prices may vary depending on location!)

I always thought the name "The History of Whoo" was funny. I decided to try it out anyway, simply because, well, it was the most expensive Korean cosmetic brand I could lay my hands on (I'm sure there's more out there I haven't seen). Because of the price, I was eager to see if it could do magic wonders. And did it? Sadly no! The two items weren't worth it, terribly overpriced for what they are. But hey, the packaging looks so elegant and eye-catchy on my makeup station! :)

Here is the History of Whoo Makeup Pact, SPF30.

 Beautiful design isn't it?
The product actually feels lighter than it looks, making it seem very cheap, just like any other compact makeup. Coverage from the powder in this pact is very sheer and light, barely noticeable, which is the reason why I gave it a bad rating.
It won't show up much on my face, so I did a little quick swatch on paper.

The pact comes with an extra sponge in the box, and a black cloth to store your makeup.

Now let's move on to the History of Whoo luxury BB Cream!
I was sooo excited to try this, because I am a huge fan of tinted sunscreens 8)

Here's a swatch of the BB cream, a little example of what it looks like on the skin-

For a closer look, you can see that this cream has a bit of glitter inside, a very pretty sparkle. The glitter is not noticeable though, unless you're under bright lighting and someone looks extremely close at your face.

This BB cream blends well, gives good medium coverage, and it does whiten the face up. It's extremely smooth too! Little amount is needed to spread it through your whole face. For the price, this luxury BB cream is nothing special. Other BB creams like O HUI can do the exact same thing.
The brand well known because of its unique ingredients containing different kinds of medicinal herbs, extracts from plants, seeds, flowers etc. One of the reasons why I didn't like the products was because of its scent. Yes that's right, the old, old smell of ginseng. The smell that many Asian women LOVE. It literally gives me a mild headache when I sniff it, but of course you won't smell it as much when you put it on your face. A lot of women apparently loves the smell of ginseng, but for me, it's like an old granny's perfume.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm Swatches

So it all started with Burt's Bees Pink Blossom lip balm. I tried it out for a week, and loveeeed it, so I decided to buy all the colors. :) These are about $6.99 each at the drugstore, but somehow I was able to get like 3 of them at Target for $4.88 each. Weird random sale!

Anyway, here are the colors!

Swatches of Burt's Bees tinted lip balm-

And this is what it looks like on the lips.
I suck at trying to get the same lighting for every photo :(

Red dahlia - Rose - Hibiscus
Pink blossom - Tiger lily - Honeysuckle

Here are the colors again with flash

My favorite colors are Hibiscus and Rose. What's yours? ;)

Cl Tinters Colortones

Monthly disposal
Material: 45% Metafilcon A, 55% Water
Diameter: 14.4 mm & Base Curve: 8.7

This was actually the first brand I tried when I first wore contact lens, and I still think they're the best! Only bad thing is that the store I usually buy them from no longer sells this brand, and now I have no idea where to get them :(. Sigh, no more Colortones. They were the most comfortable contacts I've ever tried too.

I still have pictures of some of the colors I've tried- green, gray, and hazel.
